Our
Story

Project 100 will fund the construction of new, ECB-approved three-lane training nets, designed and delivered in partnership with Total-Play Ltd. Our existing nets are no longer fit for purpose, limiting training opportunities for our growing women’s, youth, and men’s teams.

The new facility will create a secure, professional standard space that promotes participation, equality and community spirit.

This project benefits the entire Thetford community by providing safe, inclusive spaces for young people to play, learn and grow. It will inspire the next generation of players and strengthen community ties across the region.

To support climate resilience, we are working with Total-Play to use durable, recyclable materials and enhanced drainage to manage rainfall and reduce maintenance. By developing facilities locally, we also reduce travel emissions and encourage sustainable community sport.

Project 100 will deliver lasting community value by:

  • Creating a safe, high-quality facility accessible to all.

  • Spectator Seating and Pitchside Improvements.

  • Bowling Machines and Training Equipment to enhance pactice sessions ans develop players skills across all age groups and abilities.

  • Expanding participation in cricket for youth, women, and men.

  • Promoting wellbeing, teamwork, and local pride.

  • Strengthening relationships between local businesses, residents and community groups.

  • Providing an eco-friendly model for local sports development.

How You Can Play Your Part

There are four simple ways to take part in Project 100 :

  1. Make a pledge – Every contribution counts

  2. Spread the word – Share our Crowdfunder page on social media and tell your network about Project 100.

  3. Fundraise for us – Set up your own mini-event or challenge and link it to our Crowdfunder page, it only takes a few minutes.

  4. Support our events. Listen out and watch this space as events will be published here on our website and App for everyone to be able to get involved.

We are also looking to create disabled parking spaces and a level patio area that will allow people to move safely and easily from their cars into the clubhouse. We also want to install a proper pathway from the club entrance to the main parking area, improving accessibility for wheelchair users, families with pushchairs, elderly visitors, and anyone with mobility difficulties.

We truly would like to create a club for all.

The public Crowdfunder campaign is now launched and we would love for the whole community to get behind us.
